Assessment billings are typically sent out in early April, and the due date is around May 31. This means that you have about a month to make your payment and avoid any penalties.
Assessments are important because they help fund important services and improvements to the ditch.
Here are some things that your assessment helps to pay for:
- Maintenance and repair of ditches: This includes clearing debris from ditches, repairing culverts and other infrastructure, and other routine maintenance tasks to keep the water flowing properly.
