As we say goodbye to the hot days of summer and welcome the chill of fall and winter, it’s time to shut down the Last Chance Ditch for the fall. We will be turning the water off on October 2nd, but it may take a couple of days for the flow of water to completely dissipate.
When the irrigation water stops you’ll want to check your ditches for debris such as branches and trash. This stuff will need to be cleaned out so that ditches are ready for spring next year. If you notice any problems, please give the Last Chance Ditch Office a call at 775-323-5224.
